I kept telling myself that it would be worth it – every hardship would be worth it. I keep wanting to quit, but I’m super thankful for my partner who has faith in me. I’ve realized that taking breaks in between is incredibly helpful. It’s made me feel like I’m no longer on a treadmill with a broken stop button, haha because I used to feel that way before I started prioritizing my well-being. Honestly, it feels nice, and it’s a small growth that I’ve noticed in myself :>
For me, 2024 came with its fair share of challenges. Juggling everything while staying strong for my family wasn’t always easy, but honestly, my kids kept me going. Just seeing their smiles or hearing them laugh reminded me why I keep pushing through. I also learned to take small moments for myself; a quiet coffee in the morning or sneaking in a few minutes to breathe and reset.
I can totally relate!! this year threw some unexpected health challenges my way too. at first, it felt like everything was out of control but I think what got me through was focusing on the little wins. like even on tough days, just getting up, sticking to a routine (no matter how small) and reminding myself that progress has its ups and downs kept me goingg tbh. my friends also played a big role and kept me in check don’t know what i’d do without them!
what helped me get through tough times this year was reminding myself that this is just a phase; something i have to go through to grow stronger and push myself further. it wasn’t easy but keeping that perspective really helped.
