hey, lately I’ve been struggling to focus, and it’s making it hard to get things done. There’s so much happening at once that my head feels like it’s going to explode. I’ve tried writing things down and organizing my thoughts, but I’m still feeling overwhelmed.
has anyone else dealt with this? Any tips on staying grounded and managing stress would be really appreciated. Thanks so much for your support!
I think I might relate to this, I’ve also been struggling with focus and sometimes everything feels too much to do. I think there are certain factors for this. Do you know what you’ve been dealing with that made you like this?
Box breathing is really good for brain fog and being overwhelmed, just be sure to be mindful of your breathing. And I also have a secret, I usually visualize my desires in my mind and try to make it as vivid as possible. Thank you for caring about yourself,
@gibby so sorry youre going through this right now. Idk about u, but when i reach situations like tilhis ill always need to take a nap - just close the lights, get under a blanket, n close my eyes. Doesnt matter what time of the day or what im supposed to be doing! If my brain feels very heavy n foggy then forcing it to think or be productive wouldnt do me any good,.
If sleeping isnt something u can afford at the time then medidations or mindful breathing can be a good option too! Though u will need to use some mental energy to really ground into your body n release the mental stress. There’s a free app called medito that has A LOT of meditations n mindful breathing guides - i use it a lot to help me sleep.
Hope its been getting a bit better for u over the days!
hey, i’ve definitely been there and it’s so tough when everything feels like too much. something that’s helped me is stepping away for a few minutes when it gets overwhelming. another thing my therapist taught me is to ask for help or delegate tasks when it’s all too much. sometimes, people want to help but just don’t know how and what to do - being specific about what you need can make a big difference. remember we’re already doing the best we can, we’re just ONE person; more hands can make the load lighter !
if writing things down isn’t enough, try narrowing it to just one or two priorities at a time. breaking it into smaller chunks can make the chaos feel a bit more manageable. you’ve got this, one step at a time!
