ooh i’ve always wanted to try tufting!! right now I do some clay art and I find it very relaxing
clay art sounds so cool! i’ve always been interested but it looks so intimidating to start. do you need to those oven to bake your clay in?
i indulge in some very very expressive (abstract) watercolour painting sessions when i get stressed. its not only relaxing, but it’s easy to get into “the zone” bcs i dont need to do a lot of things to prepare - just a space to work and getting out my equipment!
ive always wanted to start gardening
we have a clear plot of land in our front yard that needs some TLC, but im always so tired at the end of the day or the weekends to work on it. doesn’t help that i need to do so much research before i can properly plant anything!
Clay art must be so therapeutic! What kinds of pieces do you usually create? I’ve been seeing a lot of videos of people working with clay, and it looks so calming. I can imagine how relaxing it must be, especially when you’re winding down after a long day.
Watercolor painting is such a great stress reliever, and the best part is how easily you can get started! Gardening sounds like a wonderful way to connect with nature and create something beautiful. Maybe you can start with some low-maintenance plants to ease into it! I’d be happy to help look up some easy starter plants if you’re interested!

clay art does feel calming for me, but it is prettier and easier when other people are doing it… i have lots of things to make in my imagination but turned out it’s actually hard to make any shape
i havent got to try making clay with the circle machine though, sounds tricky but it will look better than shaping by hand I believe! Have you tried it?
hey @bebelbotal I love that clay art feels calming for you!
I totally get it! things always look easier when others do it, but shaping it yourself can be tricky. I’ve tried hand-shaping too, and it’s tough to match what’s in your head. I haven’t tried the pottery wheel either, it seems smoother but a bit intimidating. Would you give it a try?
